Guest acknowledges acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Check-in/Checkout

Check-In: 3:00 PM

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Late Check-out Hour: 12:00 PM

Fees: $80.00 ($40/hr after 12 PM and before 2 PM)

Check-out (after 11:00 AM and before 12:00 PM) may result in a fee.

Cancelation

For cancelations made 48 hours or less prior to guest arrival or for no-shows, the full price of the room is non-refundable. ***Special event period reservations require a one-week cancelation notice prior to date of check-in at 3 PM.***

BIG ROCK TOURNAMENT WEEK requires a one-month cancelation request prior to date of check-in at 3 PM.

Deposits will be refunded if reservation is cancelled by the Guest 48 hours or more before arrival, OR, one week prior to special event periods.

No refunds will be made for early departure from the hotel.

Any refunds allowed by Inlet Inn must be requested within 30 days after departure.

Payment Procedures

Payment may be made with a valid credit card, debit card, or by cash. A credit or debit card must be attached to the reservation.

A first-night deposit, including taxes, is collected when the reservation is made through the online booking system or by phone.

Balance of stay will be pre-authorized on the credit card attached to the reservation during morning hours on the day of check-in. Pre-authorization is a temporary hold on a Guest’s credit card which shows up as a pending charge. Pre-auths ensure that funds are available and also allows Guests to add charges to the pre-authorized balance without creating several new transactions. Usually, the balance of the stay and any charges (gift shop items, fees, etc.) added to the room are captured at one time on the day of checkout.

Payment in full is due to Inlet Inn NC LLC at time of checkout.

All sales are final.

Prices & Taxes

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change.

A 6.75% sales tax is applied to all room rentals. Exceptions apply to tax exempt organizations such as universities and government entities.

A 6.00% occupancy tax is applied to all room rentals.

Parking

Parking is limited to one (1) car per room. Use of the hotel parking area is at the sole discretion of Inlet Inn. Additionally, other parking options are available offsite in the form of free and paid parking within walking distance of the Hotel.

If a Guest intends to keep a vehicle on hotel property during their stay, the vehicle’s license plate number is required at time of check-in.

Inlet Inn is not responsible for damage to or theft from any vehicle or boat parked on or off hotel premises.

Pets

Pets are not allowed on hotel property. Furthermore, discovery of a pet or emotional support animal will result in a $150 service fee and eviction from the hotel.

As required by Federal law, we do accept service animals. We are allowed to ask the following questions about your animal:

Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability?

What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

Smoking

NO smoking is allowed in Inlet Inn guest rooms, Lookout Lounge, the ice room, or the public restroom.

A $200 service fee will be charged if smoking has occurred in an Inlet Inn room.

Smoking is allowed in open air areas such as the Courtyard and on breezeways. In short, please be respectful of others.

Coins For Conservation

Coins For Conservation funds are raised through a $4 fee added on to each hotel room reservation. 100% of each contribution goes directly to supporting the natural habitat and wildlife of Beaufort’s protective barrier islands in the Rachel Carson Reserve which includes: Carrot Island, Town Marsh, Bird Shoal, Horse and Middle Marsh Islands.

All fees directly support ATLANTIC BEACH SEA TURTLE PROJECT, COASTAL CAROLINA RIVERWATCH, FRIENDS OF THE RACHEL CARSON RESERVE, and NC COASTAL FEDERATION, nonprofit organizations actively promoting conservation and eco-friendly tourism development.

General Conditions & Responsibility

Inlet Inn, its directors, officers, employees, subcontractors, agents and representatives, shall at no time be liable or responsible in any way whatsoever for any loss, injury, or damage caused or arising in connection with any transportation, hotel or other services or products of third parties provided through Inlet Inn, or as a result of acts of God, acts of Government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, hijacks, thefts, or any circumstance beyond its control.

Inlet Inn reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation, including the price, at any time prior to guest check-in if the reservation includes or was made as the result of a mistake or error of any kind, including but not limited to, a mistake or error in price or description of the hotel or hotel components, or where it appears that a guest has engaged in fraudulent or misleading activity in making the reservation.

Terms and conditions are subject to change by Inlet Inn without notice. If these Terms and Conditions contain any provisions construed to be unenforceable or unlawful by a court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall be deemed modified to conform to applicable law, or if this would cause an unreasonable result, such provision shall be stricken from these Terms and Conditions without affecting the binding force and effect of any of its other provisions.

Governing Law & Venue

All sales of hotel rooms and space take place in and are consummated in the State of North Carolina. Any claim, action or lawsuit (collectively, “Action”) arising out of these Terms and Conditions, reservations and bookings, and/or all packages. products and services provided in connection with the reservations and bookings, including without limitation, components such as merchandise, packages, and room accommodations (all collectively, “Terms, Reservations, and Products”) must be filed and maintained exclusively in any court in Carteret County, North Carolina having subject matter jurisdiction. These Terms, Reservations, and Products shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
