Third-party reservation websites such as Expedia, Booking.com and their affiliates have authorization to sell rooms on our behalf, but they do not always have the best information and oftentimes have deals with other third parties to sell our rooms. It’s very easy to lose your reservation details which can make it very hard to do things like requesting cancelation. It’s also difficult for the Front Desk to verify your details when they’re being hidden or withheld by third parties.
